Creepy Waves FM: Bugs Fixer
A downloadable game for Windows
PLOT
A young and promising boy goes for an interview at a major AAA game development company. He is offered a position with a probationary period on night shifts. While performing his tasks in the office, he becomes the subject of a series of events that could lead to no good. What would you do if you were in his place? Will your actions lead you to salvation, or will you become a tragic victim of someone hiding in the dark?
GAMEPLAY
This is a short, atmospheric psychological horror where you play as a 16-year-old boy applying for his first job at a big game development company. You can interact with different people, fix bugs in prototype games as part of your work routine, and follow some daily routines as the plot unfolds.
NOTES
This is the second part in the Creepy Waves FM, series of psychological horror games. Following the unexpected and stunning positive feedback from the last game, I'm deeply grateful to everyone who played the previous part, participated in beta testing, shared their opinions in comments, or even gave it a one-star rating—yes, every piece of feedback is valuable to me!
With regards to all feedback I gathered from last part, here some changes for this one:
- Extended storyline, increasing average gameplay time to 60-90 minutes.
- MORE OPTIMISATIONS (average FPS was increased 2.5 times)
- Fewer bugs.
- More horror (Yes, but it's still thriller-like...)
While developing this series, I was heavily inspired by the Fears To Fathom episodic psychological horror games. You should play them if you like horror games!
Average Gameplay Time: 60-90 minutes
CONTROLS
- WASD - Move
- LMB - Interact
- P - Phone
- Left SHIFT - Move a bit faster :)
- ESC - Settings and full Controls List

Loved this game!
Good, kasihan sih sama si satpamnya malah kena tusuk. Tapi ternyata bosnya lebih tak terduga.
For a game about fixing bugs, there were a few bugs in this one. GREAT game though!
it's behind you!
nice story loved it
YALL UP THERE WITH 616 GAMES!!! KEEP IT UP!!
TOOK A LOT OF EDITING. But at least I can say, it was worth playing
fun game :D
sooooo cool game, the mechanics with typing code especially cool. the plot remeinded me of the game "parasocial" from Chilla's art. it's cool that the heart rate increases and the noise of the screen when the main character reads an article yourself, and not like in some games, just a picture
I loved the graphics, the length of the game was very good, I just would have liked a bit more jumpscares, it was a bit too "chill" I think! But apart from that, it was really very good, I can't wait to see more of it good work<3/
cant believe i leave a indie company for a mobile game company smh, the true horror
Damn I was not ready for that jumpscare
The second story of your horror game series is great. I will wait for next story of Creepy Waves FM
The game-within-a-game mechanic whilst fixing the code of the prototypes is fun and interesting, the developer has clearly listened to feedback and constructive criticism from the earlier game in the series. The dialogue and grammar is cleaner this time around, the meta nods throughout are humorous and you empathise with some of the characters (love Mike. Poor Mike.)
With these types of games, when the main character has to take medication to help with hallucinations and whether what they're seeing is 'real' the payoff can sometimes be a little anticlimactic, but Bugs Fixer handles this scenario with just the right balance of suspicion and paranoia.
With an expanded storyline this time around, there's a slow build of tension and with an alternative endings on display, really looking forward to what comes next in the Creepy Waves FM series.
Few critiques this time around:
A rather interesting horror game, had a lot of fun though
ngl this game is boring. too slow in my opinion. RIP MIKE!
Bro called it boring, but yet played the entire game and didnt even bother getting the other ending where you actually fight the guy... lmao
good game! played Ep1 now ep2!
Keep up the great work!
For what this was, it was quite good! Made a video on it.
This was one of the greatest games, I've ever played. Everything was great, the atmosphere the storyline as well- the jumpscares. Even if there was too much dialogue, and slow walking. It really made me jump a ton, just from simple ambience.
Nice!! keep it goin
Nice this was absolutely great game I like it very much but the only creepy thing was this dude head turned haha anyway well done and keep it up!
It took quite a time before real jumpscares and horror starts, but in overall really liked the plot, good job and noice thriller atmosphere kept through whole game, like it! Keep up good work!
It's great that you accept criticism and read comments, because in your new game it's clear that you took into account the shortcomings that were mentioned, reduced them, and increased the number of positives that were in Train Department! There’s more content, a more oppressive atmosphere, and now even direct interaction with the main villain, which was missing last time. I hope in future parts you will add more direct confrontation, as you would definitely make it an interesting experience, in my humble opinion.
I look forward to your future works, keep it up!
